Priorities

I want it all, but I can't.

I want to take a break, but I have big plans for the future and my pocket cannot stand to be empty.
I want to work for passion, but I need money.
I want to work to learn, but I want to rest, too.
I want to spend, but I need to save.

Why can't I have it all?

Ah, novels are my guilty pleasure.

I know I should be sleeping.
I know I should be working.
I know I should stop daydreaming about the book...

But to lose myself in someone else's world...I wish I could take one week off work & just camp in bed reading all the novels in the world.

Housewife?

When I was 8, I wrote that I want to be a housewife when I grow up, like my mum. 

I like to cook, teach kids (I wanna homeschool them!!), craft, bake, scrapbook (stuffs housewives seem to do).

But every time I am at home the whole day, I feel so unproductive! I just can't relax, huh? See, even when this is what I did, I STILL feel unproductive. =(

Friday is my off day! I prefer staying in cos if I go out, out goes my money, too!!

To-Do List
Wake up late (11am).
Enjoy brunch while reading the papers.
Make lemongrass & ginger tea (still not as nice as the one in Herbaline!)
Do mask while reading novel and soaking feet in ginger footbath.
Watch 8 Simple Rules (favourite "childhood" sitcom - watching Penny in Big Bang Theory just reminds me of it) while crafting.
Make 2 new pair of shorts & bracelets.
Cook dinner

10. My Name is Iran 

After reading The Prisoner of Tehran, I stumbled upon this at a sale and was hoping that it would be alike. But this was a bore and I struggled to finish it.

14. Can You Keep a Secret?
I read the Mandarin version of this years ago, and when I was rereading the English version, I seriously couldn't remember the story at all! But Sophie Kinsella is the one and only chick lit author which I read and she never disappoints!

It's written as Madeline Wickham who is actually Sophie Kinsella. It's a different kind of novel, with a more serious tone. I didn't like it as much as the Sophie Kinsella kind.

Oooohh I love love love this! The book is better than the movie (Though the movie was great as well, unlike Harry Potter where the books are awesome but the movies are horrible except for Emma Watson).
